CNG Direct partners with energy companies to recover stranded wellhead gas that would normally be flared and not used for energy. This gas can be delivered to our customers for use at any work site or facility. CNG Direct provides the necessary compression, CNG trailers and offloading equipment to transport this gas from the wellhead to the end user or pipeline for use by utility companies.

Stranded gas is wellhead gas that has no feasible way of connecting to a pipeline. Many oil wells produce natural gas as byproduct of pumping oil out of the ground. With California being one of the top three oil producing states in the US, there are thousands of well head gas flares in California. This extra gas is simply burned or flared producing harmful emissions and simply wasting this rich energy resource. CNG Direct allows this gas to be utilized, reducing greenhouse gases and conserving our precious natural resources.

All of our wellhead gas is conditioned by removing heavy hydrocarbons, ensuring the gas meets CPUC quality standards. CNG Direct conditions, compresses, transports and offloads the gas down to a pressure and temperature that is suitable for your needs.
